Reconnecting...It's Been A While

It's been quite a while since I've been in touch, so today is the day to catch you up on what's been happening. 

Near the end of October, my hubby Jim and I moved to our new home.  There's a long story leading up to the much anticipated moving day that I won't get into.  Suffice it to say, we'd been waiting a little over two years to get here. 

Getting all of our belongings under one roof and seeing furniture that's been packed away was a bit like Christmas.  Opening boxes looking for specific things and finding other things we forgot we had has all been part of the fun.  That said, we have no idea where the coffee maker, cutting boards and BBQ are living at the moment!

I'm finishing week four of a six week recovery from a surgery in November.  Six weeks of no lifting, pushing furniture around, vacuuming (sooo disappointing - ahem) is not the ideal after moving into a new home.  I'm not very good at sitting still at the best of times, so it's been a discipline. But truly, it's all good!

All said, I'm feeling well, my office is almost set-up and .my Consult bag is packed and ready to go. I'm heading out on a Consult this Friday with Jim, who will be doing some painting on this job.  I can't wait to get back to some serious  interior decorating! It feels wonderful to be 'back in the saddle'.
